Brass Quintet Castelbrass is a brass ensemble formed by soloists from the Poznań Philharmonic and the Stanisław Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań. It was founded in 1993 and initially operated under the name Art Brass Ensemble. The ensemble is a quintet consisting of two trumpets, a horn, a trombone and a tuba. The ensemble's rich and stylistically very diverse repertoire - from Renaissance and Baroque music to contemporary compositions - also includes popular and entertainment pieces. The quintet performs in historic interiors of palaces, castles, manor houses, as well as in concert halls in Poland and abroad.
