Biographical notes:

sebastian kuczyńskiSebastian Kuczyński is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, in the Organ Class of Prof. Jarosław Wróblewski and Dr. Wojciech Bednarski and in the Church Music Class of Prof. Piotr Wilczyński. He also studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg in the Organ Class of Prof. Wolfgang Zerer and the Harpsichord Class of Prof. Menno van Delft. He took part in master classes led by, among others, Peter Planyavsky, Hans Fagius, Bernhard Haas, Gerhard Gnann and Julian Gembalski. As a soloist and chamber musician, he gives concerts in Poland and abroad (Austria, Belarus, Canada, Lithuania, Germany). He is a laureate of the 2nd prize at the International Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck Organ Competition in Gdańsk (2024), as well as national competitions. Since 2016, he has been the main organist of the National Sanctuary of St. Andrzej Bobola in Warsaw and director of the Mokotów Festival of Organ and Chamber Music.
The Chamber Choir of the Academy of Art in SzczecinThe Chamber Choir of the Academy of Art in Szczecin was established in 2010 together with the establishment of a new higher artistic school – the Academy of Art. The choir brings together students and graduates of the Academy who want to develop their musical passions. Its repertoire includes vocal and vocal-instrumental works of various genres by composers from different eras. It has given many concerts in Poland, as well as in Denmark, Ireland and Germany. It has taken part in many festivals, including in Szczecin, Kamień Pomorski, Neuruppin and Greifswald. It has won numerous awards in choral competitions, including: Grand Prix in Lublin (Cantantes Lublinensis), Łódź (Cantio Lodziensis), Croatia (Chorus Inside); Golden Diplomas: in Międzyzdroje (International Festival of Choral Song), Legnica (Legnica Cantat). The ensemble works under the supervision of prof. Barbara Halec.
barbara halecBarbara Halec is a graduate of the Szczecin branch of the Academy of Music in Poznań, in the class of prof. Ryszard Handke. Since 2003, she has lectured at the Szczecin branch of the Academy of Music in Poznań, where, in addition to conducting, she led vocal ensembles and the Faculty Choir. Since 2010, she has been the conductor of the Chamber Choir of the Academy of Art, with which she has performed many times in Poland and abroad. She has participated in choral festivals and competitions, winning distinctions and awards. Since 2010, she has been the vice-dean, since 2016 the dean of the Faculty of Music Education, and since 2020 the Chairwoman of the Disciplinary Council of the Academy of Art in Szczecin. She obtained the title of doctor of musical art (in the discipline of conducting) from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, and the degree of habilitated doctor in the same discipline from the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. Awarded with the honorary badge of Merit for Polish Culture and the Golden Badge of Honor of the Polish Association of Choirs and Orchestras.
mateusz pawelecMateusz Pawelec is a graduate of the Faculty of Music Education at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, specializing in: choral conducting in the class of prof. Sylwia Fabiańczyk-Makuch and church music in the organ class of prof. Bogdan Narloch. He works as an organist in the parish of the Holy Family in Szczecin. He performs as a soloist and chamber musician in the Szczecin early music ensemble "Szczecin Vocal Project". As a chorister, he also participates in Szczecin choirs, such as the Chamber Choir of the Academy of Art in Szczecin, the Choir of the Maritime University of Technology or the choir "Cantores Osoviensis Mater Dolorosa".
patrycjusz puraPatrycjusz Pura studies saxophone at the Academy of Art in Szczecin under the supervision of prof. Dariusz Samól. In 2024, he joined the international saxophone quartet "Panlink Saxophone Quartet". He also plays in the SaxAdemus Quartet. He can boast of successes in the competition field: 2nd place at the International Competition "Pro Bohemia" in Ostrava (Czech Republic) and the Grand Prix and award for the best saxophonist at the XXXII International Competition for Young Performers "Città di Barletta" in Italy. He has also performed as a soloist and member of chamber ensembles, as well as during world saxophone congresses.
