Biographical notes:
Bartosz Jakubczak organist, chamber musician, teacher, professor, habilitated doctor. He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the Organ Class of Andrzej Chorosiński and completed postgraduate studies (with the highest distinction) at the Royal Academy of Music in London in the Class of David Titterington. In 2002, he received the Prix de la Presse award during the Grand Prix Bach de Lausanne competition in Switzerland. In 2015, he received the title of honorary associate of the Royal Academy of Music in London (Associate of the Royal Academy of Music). In 2023, he was awarded the "Medal for Merits to the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music". He has recorded albums for the Ars Sonora, Chopin University Press, Musicon labels. In the term of office 2024-2028, he is the Head of the Organ Department at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
Bartłomiej Nizioł graduated with distinction from the Academy of Music in Poznań, then continued his studies at the Conservatoire de Lausanne. He won first places at the most important international violin competitions in Poznań, Adelaide, Pretoria, Brussels, and Paris. He was awarded the Fryderyk three times. As a soloist, he performed with such orchestras as: the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warszawa, Sinfonia Varsovia, NOSPR in Katowice, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, NDR in Hanover, SWR in Kaiserslautern, Radio France in Paris, the English Chamber, the London Symphony, the Tonhalle in Zurich, the Edmonton Symphony. He has lived in Switzerland since 1995. In the years 1997–2003 he was the concertmaster of the Tonhalle Orchestra, and since 2003 he has been the concertmaster of the Zurich Opera Orchestra. He is the principal of the Valentin Berlinsky Quartet, founded in 2010. Since 2008, he has been a professor at the Hochschule der Künste Bern.
Prenzlau Chamber Orchestra originates from the State District Orchestra founded in 1954. The seat of the currently existing chamber ensemble is Prenzlau. The orchestra's activities are characterized above all by its universality: in addition to regular concerts of classical music, pop music and chamber performances in Prenzlau, the ensemble often performs in Germany and abroad, having performed in Denmark, Pakistan, the United States, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Poland and Italy. A significant tour of the ensemble was the performance in Switzerland in March 2012. The orchestra has participated in CD recordings of music by J.S. Bach, G.F. Händel, J.K. Vanhal, W.A. Mozart.
Eugeniusz Kus graduated from the Academy of Music in Poznań. He perfected his skills at the Academy of Music in Warszawa and at universities in The Hague, Rotterdam and Vienna. In the years 1969–2005 he directed the Choir of the University of Szczecin, and from 1984 he led the Ensemble of Vocalists and Instrumentalists Camerata Nova. He has performed throughout Europe, China, Brazil and the USA. He has been a juror at many international choral, solo singing and composition competitions (including in China, South Korea, Germany, Poland and Italy). In the years 1974–2007 he was the director of the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle in Szczecin. He is the program director of the International Festival of Organ and Chamber Music in Kamień Pomorski, the artistic director of the International Organ Festival in Szczecin and the artistic director and chairman of the jury of the choral competition in Gorizia (Italy). As a professor of musical arts, he lectured at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. He was awarded, among others, the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, the Silver and Gold Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis, and twice the Cross of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
