Early Music Ensemble Regence Sonore is a young early music ensemble consisting of internationally active female artists. Thanks to the diverse education of the artists (Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland, the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and the Polish early music scene) and the common national heritage, the ensemble consistently strives to combine various musical skills and knowledge and draw inspiration from and references to other fields of art and academic research. The intensive cooperation of the artists, which began in 2023, resulted in the realization of the musical setting for the debut of a new program as part of the interdisciplinary project La reine danse, combining historical dance with French Baroque music from the Versailles court of the Sun King. The program premiered as part of the 2023 edition of the Musical Gardens festival.
