Roman Perucki graduated from the St. Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, in the organ class of prof. L. Bator. He is currently a professor at his alma mater (in 1996–1999 he was vice-rector for artistic affairs), and also holds the position of general director of the F. Chopin Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk. As the president of the Pomeranian Musica Sacra Association, he organizes the International Festival of Organ Music in the Oliwa Cathedral and the J.P. Sweelinck International Organ Competition in Gdańsk. He holds the position of the first organist of the Oliwa Archcathedral, and since 1999 he has been the president of the Association of Oliwa Archcathedral Enthusiasts. He has played over 2,000 organ recitals all over the world. His portfolio includes a platinum record (1998) and two gold records, and he has recorded for radio and television stations in Poland and abroad. He conducts master classes in France, Mexico, and Germany, among others. He received, among others, the highest papal decorations: "Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice" (awarded by John Paul II) and the Order of St. Sylvester (awarded by Benedict XVI). In 2005, he received the gold badge "Meritorious for Polish Culture".
Maria Gmyrek (saxophone) and Wojciech Trefon (harp) have been a duo since 2019, operating as a student band. Trefon-Gmyrek DUO has received several top awards at national and international competitions. In 2018, they were the only Polish band invited to perform at the 18th World Saxophone Congress in Zagreb in a special concert of Polish contemporary music with pieces for saxophone and harp. In the same year, they performed at the 2nd Polish Saxophone Congress in Warsaw. In 2017, the duo released the album Arabesque with original pieces, as well as one arranged for a saxophone-harp ensemble. The band recorded a 60-minute television program on Jazz TV, which is distributed in an international telecommunications network.
