Biographical notes:
Julita Nohanowicz in 2012 she began studying at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, majoring in Artistic Education in the field of Musical Art, specializing in choral conducting and church music. In 2015/16 she received the Rector's scholarship for the best students. In 2017 she graduated with distinction. In June 2024, she completed her studies in organ playing under Prof. B. Narloch at the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
Andrzej Ogórkiewicz graduated from the State Higher School of Music in Poznań in the class of Stanisław Romański. His repertoire includes over 140 opera, operetta and musical parts, as well as numerous oratorio and cantata pieces. He collaborates permanently with the Capella of the Rydzyński Castle. He is a professor at the Academy of Music in Poznań. Since 2005, he has been a member of the authorities of the Vocal and Acting Department (as vice-dean, dean, head of the Department of Opera Music). He has received the following awards: Meritorious Cultural Activist, Gold Medal for Long Service, Silver Cross of Merit, Gold Cross of Merit, Medal of the National Education Commission and Silver Medal for Merit for Polish Culture Gloria Artis.
The Male Choir of the Druh Stuligrosz Company was founded in 2008, inspired by Prof. S. Stuligrosz. The ensemble consists mainly of former boy singers of the Poznań Philharmonic Choir "Poznańskie Słowiki", as well as members of other choirs. The choir is currently conducted by J. Szpunt, a graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań. The ensemble has won national and international competitions (its latest achievement is 1st place in the Patriotic and Soldier Song Competition in Rawicz in the fall of 2023). The choir gives about 30 concerts each artistic season. The ensemble has a wide repertoire, including sacred, patriotic, folk, popular songs, and Polish and foreign carols. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary, the Choir received the Honorary Badge "For Services to the Wielkopolska Province".
Jakub Szpunt in 2022 graduated from the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań at the Faculty of Composition, Conducting, Vocal Studies, Music Theory and Artistic Education in the conducting class of dr hab. P. Łuczak. In 2023 he also completed Postgraduate Studies in Choirmastering and Voice Production at the F. Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz (specialization: voice production). He serves as assistant conductor of the Poznań University of Technology Choir, and since March 2024 he has been the conductor of the Male Choir of the Druha Stuligrosz Company in Poznań. In addition to his artistic work, he is also involved in music education in public and private schools.
