Biographical notes:

Agnieszka TarnawskaAgnieszka Tarnawska is a graduate of the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań (organ class of prof. S. Kamiński and harpsichord class of prof. M. Banaszkiewicz-Bryła). She also completed master's studies in Lübeck, in the organ class of prof. A. Gast, and then soloist studies at Konzertexamen under the supervision of prof. W. Zerer in Hamburg (diplomas with distinction). She is a laureate of international organ competitions in Poznań, Brno and Korschenbroich. In 2017, she won the first prize at the C. Franck International Competition in Haarlem (the Netherlands). In 2023, her debut album with works by C. Franck was released, recorded on the historical organ of A. Cavaillé-Coll in Lyon. He is a doctor of musical arts, a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Poznań.

Krzysztof JakowiczKrzysztof Jakowicz, an outstanding Polish violinist, graduated with distinction from violin studies in Wrocław, Warszawa and Bloomington (USA). He is a laureate of the International H. Wieniawski Violin Competition in 1962 (3rd prize and the H. Szeryng Special Prize). He has given recitals in Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Israel; he has given concerts with such orchestras as: the English Chamber Orchestra, the Wiener Symphoniker, the Dresdner Philharmonie, the WDR in Cologne, the BSO in Berlin, the Orchestre National de France in Paris, and in Poland: the National Philharmonic, the NOSPR, the Sinfonia Varsovia. He has received awards of the First and Second Degree of the Minister of Culture and Art, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as the award of the Association of Polish Composers and the Gold Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis. For his album with W. Lutosławski's music he received the French critics' award "Diapazon d’Or" (W. Lutosławski entrusted him with the Polish premieres of all his violin works). He is a laureate of the "Fryderyk" Music Award in 1997. He makes radio, television and record recordings for Polish and foreign companies (he has released several dozen albums). For several decades he was a professor at the current Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warszawa, as well as a guest professor at Soai University in Osaka. He has been a juror in violin competitions, including the N. Paganini in Genoa, the A. D. H. Wieniawski in Poznań, T. Wroński in Warszawa, O. Krysa in Lviv. He plays an Italian instrument, given to him by prof. T. Wroński.
