Biographical notes:
Józef Serafin graduated with distinction from the PWSM in Kraków, in the organ class of prof. B. Rutkowski and prof. J. Jargoń, and from the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, in the class of prof. A. Heiller. He is a laureate of first prizes, among others, at the national organ competition in Warszawa (1967) and the international organ competition in Nuremberg (1972). He has given concerts in almost all European countries, as well as in the USA, Canada, Japan and Kazakhstan. He is the artistic director of the international organ and chamber music festivals in Kamień Pomorski and Leżajsk and the international festival of young organists "Juniores Priores" in Sejny. He was a juror in many international organ competitions (including Prague, Nuremberg, Paris-Chartres, Mainz, Gdańsk). Professor of the Organ Class at the University of Music and Performance in Warszawa (honorary professor of this university since 2018) and the Academy of Music in Kraków. in 2016 he received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice medal from Pope Francis.
Marzena Michałowska is an assistant professor at the Institute of Vocal Studies of the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. She perfected her skills with R. Karczykowski, H. Łazarska and J. Rappé. She gives concerts in Poland and abroad, collaborating with outstanding conductors (Ł. Borowicz, Ch. Hogwood, S. MacLeod, M. Pijarowski, J. Salwarowski, S. Stuligrosz, M. Toporowski) and with famous orchestras (Concerto Köln, Czech Virtuosi, Polish Radio Orchestra, Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio, Capella Cracoviensis and Arte Dei Suonatori). She has won numerous awards (e.g. in Duszniki-Zdrój, Warszawa and Vrable in Slovakia). Her phonographic output includes 23 albums; in 2019, the album 17TH Century Sacred Music in Wroclaw received the International Classical Music Awards.
Dawid Głogowski is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań - Szczecin branch (2010), the Academy of Music in Wrocław in the trumpet class of prof. I. Cecocho (2013) and the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz in the natural trumpet class of dr T. Ślusarczyk (2017). He is also a graduate of the Academy of Sound Realization in Warszawa (2016). In the years 2010-2013 he was the first trumpet soloist of the Wrocław Opera. Since 2014 he has been a trumpet player of the Military Orchestra in Szczecin, and since 2018 a soloist musician of the M. Karłowicz Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Szczecin. Since 2015 he has been teaching at the General Primary School of Music named after prof. M. Jasiński in Szczecin and co-founds the Szczecin Brass Quintet, performing as a chamber musician. In 2020 he recorded his debut album Oblicza.
The Prenzlau Chamber Orchestra originates from the State District Orchestra founded in 1954. The seat of the currently existing chamber ensemble is Prenzlau. The orchestra's activities are characterized above all by its universality: in addition to regular concerts of classical music, pop music and chamber performances in Prenzlau, the ensemble often performs in Germany and abroad, having performed in Denmark, Pakistan, the United States, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Poland and Italy. A significant tour of the ensemble was the performance in Switzerland in March 2012. The orchestra has participated in CD recordings of music by J.S. Bach, G.F. Händel, J.K. Vanhal, W.A. Mozart.
Eugeniusz Kus graduated from the Academy of Music in Poznań. He perfected his skills at the Academy of Music in Warszawa and at universities in The Hague, Rotterdam and Vienna. In the years 1969–2005 he directed the Choir of the University of Szczecin, and from 1984 he led the Ensemble of Vocalists and Instrumentalists Camerata Nova. He has performed throughout Europe, China, Brazil and the USA. He has been a juror at many international choral, solo singing and composition competitions (including in China, South Korea, Germany, Poland and Italy). In the years 1974–2007 he was the director of the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle in Szczecin. He is the program director of the International Festival of Organ and Chamber Music in Kamień Pomorski, the artistic director of the International Organ Festival in Szczecin and the artistic director and chairman of the jury of the choral competition in Gorizia (Italy). As a professor of musical arts, he lectured at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. He was awarded, among others, the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, the Silver and Gold Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis, and twice the Cross of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
