Ensemble Del Passato was established in 2017. The artists were united by their passion for early music and their love for the subtle sound of the voice, lute and guitar. Arranging the pieces themselves allows the band members to move through a wide repertoire: from Renaissance, through Baroque and Classical, to Romantic works. They search for forgotten pieces in old prints and manuscripts to recreate their probable forms and sound, and then restore them to performance. The band performs at many concerts and festivals, and has also recorded several online concerts. In 2022, the DUX publishing house recorded the band's first album, containing music from 400 years ago.
